Dr. Dayashankar Mishra "Dayalu" Ji has devoted his public life to the ideals of service, education, and responsible leadership. With a strong academic background and years of public engagement, he has earned recognition as a thoughtful leader committed to the welfare and development of Uttar Pradesh.
After earning his Ph.D. in Botany from Banaras Hindu University, he transitioned from academia to public service, carrying forward the values of knowledge, discipline, and integrity. In 2022, he was sworn in as Minister of State (Independent Charge), Government of Uttar Pradesh, and currently serves as a Member of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council (MLC). Through his leadership in the AYUSH, Food Safety, and Drug Administration departments, he continues to support initiatives that promote public welfare, traditional healthcare, and effective governance.
Driven by the belief that "public service is the highest responsibility," he continues to work with dedication, transparency, and a vision for a stronger and more inclusive Uttar Pradesh.
